    WOW what a Weekend!
Well what a weekend - shame its over now ...

Well it all started with a rather relaxing Saturday lazing around the house not doing much, I then ventured out to fullfill my duty as a member of this democratic society (gawd I hate voting).

Then was the almost impossible mission ... make Jon look respectable enough to go dancing at a church ... (meaghan managed to use her charm to convince him to go!), then it was off to the dance. First stop was to pick up our first TribesGal (the gorgeous 'Lady Meaghan') (where I couldn't recognise her house in the dark). then it was off to the church...

And low and behold - WE WERE EARLY AHHHHHH!!! ... we successfully made it through the door without Jon Sponateously combusting or the earth opening up and swallowing him. Anyways we got ourselves a strategically positioned table and sat down to await the arrival of Princess Fi and her entourage, and we waited, and waited and waited ... and the music and danciong started and we sat there ... (like 3/4 of the rest of the attendees). .. the finally with much pomp and fanfare - the Princess arrived (fashionably late of course). We then sampled the fare had a quick catch up with each other before Lady Meaghan dragged Sir Jon out onto the dance floor and boogied until his boots smoked... soon we were all up swinging and boppin and spinning and busta a movin....

We really showed them old folks what the young folks of today can do on a dance floor (yeah not very much at all) but what we lacked in skill we made up for in enthusiasm and sheer flexibility ... (free-style comes to mind).

Then suddenly the night was over - the clock had struck 1030 and all the more mature people at the dance had to go fetch thier nightly cocoa and anginine then fill up thier hot water bottles.

So it was farewells and off home, no one was getting grounded that night (Fis parents made sure of that)!

Anyways Sunday saw me mowing the extensive lawns of my estate while trying to watch Bathurst 1000, then off to the costume room to meet with Lady Ali and Lady Meaghan. Then I went to IGA - as I pulled into the carpark it suddenly dawned on me ... BUMP IN!!!

So in I went to say Gday, chase my Gondo DVD and CD and find the costume lady . .. with partial success I called meaghan and Ali back to get thier DVDS, - I was thrilled to catch up with Lady Yyani after an extensive separation ... I hadn't seen her since ..since ... . Info night!!!! and there were the other TribesGals there ... Lady Jena and the young Maiden Celeste . And i caught up with a whole lot of other BMMS folks ..

Anyways it was off home again via the costume ladys house ... just passing her outside the house - still unsuccessful ...

So later I returned to BUMP IN - just in time to see most of the show rehearsed and have a more extensive catch up with folks .. I got the Photo CDs and the costuming bits I needed and then headed home.

one more (late night) Rendezvous with the delightful Lady Meaghan (it had been such a long time) to exchange CDs then off home to watch two weeks worth of IDOL....

so that was my weekend - now I am exhausted!

    The Final Countdown!!!!!
Thats right folks in just 3 days I will be set free from the sweatshop after just 11 months hard labour. Then on Monday I start a new job with the bank in the city.

    Well basically I'm cheerin, because:

*** better hours - more time for me to do BMMS musicals etc. (if only they wanted me)

*** Much Better pay - more money for me to spend on Tribe outtings (and other goodies)

*** longer train trips - More time on the party train (or more time to sleep when on other trains)

*** No Public - No more dealing with stupid customers - (sorry to those of you (or your elatives) who I have dealt with at work lately).

*** no more SALES!!! <- read no more conning poor people into getting themselves further into debt - I DO HAVE A CONSCIENCE.,,,

Basically its all good so I am very excited ...

lookin forward to another tribe outting - was very lucky to run into Keren on the train today and have a good ctach up.

(I have previously written a much more exciting version of this post but my PC crashed just as I pressed update and I lost it all!)

    Anyways cheers

The Tribe Hits Glenbrook! Play Equipment Hits the Tribe!
Thats right folks last night saw the third consecutive Saturday night outting for the BMMS Tribe / croo / gang.

    As per usual we had a great night;

THE MOVIE: Well - kinda deep - I'm still madly flickin through the Yellow Pages to find them people so I can have my memory of the movie erased from my brain ... cause right now I can't stop thinking ... 'What was the moral of the story'? although I suspect if I do successully get the memory erased, I'll prolly go back and watch it again - and get it erased again then go back and wach it again then get erased again ... until there is nothin left of my brain but a small sticky glob of choc-chip icecream....

Anyways we were remarkably well behaved in the movies and I don't think we disturbed anyone - although I reckon this wouldda been different if we had been on time and were located further up the back.

THE PARK (Episode I): We then hit the park, exploring some of the play equipment, showing off our acrobatic skills, then running around on the oval, practicing cartwheels, stacks on and other crazy tricks.

THE CAFE: Well after finding the blue tongue lizard packed out we headed for the other cafe thingy - near the realesatet agaent thingy ... we all had some refreshements, fondled elvis, took pitstsops .. and thats all I've got to say abou that.

THE PARK (EPISODE II): so then we all went back to the park, played on everybit of equipment we could, That equipment is sooooo dangerous - most of us ended up with injuries - like I thought the new style equipment was supposed to be safer, if us big kida hurt ourselves soo much - what about the little kids! - I want something done about this... and why do they have confesssionals in a kids playground? ... and (i'm not finished yet) why has the truck got 2 steering wheels - talk about confusing our youngsters - no wonder so many young drivers are involved in accidents they grow up thinking that the other person in the front seet can steer too!

Anyways as usual we all had a great time - why don't we ever take a camera to these events ... ?? well at least we have the wounds and bruises to remember it by.

It was good to see we didn't spoil our perfect record, no-one was home before midnight (and no-one lost there slipper).

Well until next time.. bye bye! and if anyone knows what that movie was about be sure to let me know!!

    My House Warming
    Hey Folks,

Here I am in my new abode, take a look around looks pretty good - even smells new eh? I reckon it is a change for the better!

Well I haven't written much in livejournal so far so I better start now.

As many of you know I was hosting a visitor for the last few weeks and many of you met my nephew Jon. I would just like to thanks you all heaps for makin him feel welcome, especially you JenA, it really did help him a lot to feel like he had friends in this strange new place. Hopefully he will be back shortly.

Well the School holidays .. well as you all know I am well outta school but the school holidays were special for me - firstly i have no Scout committments - so my friday nights are free and secondly it is the best time to enjoy fun times with my bestest BMMS buddies. And we certainly did that!

From the ill-fated LSOH dance practice in my backyard - thanks for your help meaggy-lou, its so much fun practicing spins on uneven sloping grass eh!

Then there was the great expedition to 10 Pin bowling, it was a shame we couldn't get the entire gang together but it was great to catch up with Simon and Kate who missed out on Gondoliers. We all had a great time and kept goin until the wee small hours doin our usual crazy stuff.

Then Johns 18th, once again a great BMMS Gang event, marvellous to catch up with Nat, Keren and Fi who us lower Mtn folks aint seen since LSOH info night. It was also a great welcome back for the jetsettin Princes Fi - THANKS for the prezzies Princess Fi!!!!! Once again we had a great night, perhaps we might have made Johns friends take a second look but I think John enjoyed havin us there and i think we livened up the party a little. It sure was chilly out on the tramp - amazing what body heat can do, lucky we're all friends.

So I'd better shuttup now and get to sleep.. but to all my BMMS buddies thanks for all the fun times over the holidays, good luck with your return to school/uni, keep up the hard work, you may despise it now but it is worth it in the end and it will be over before you know it and you will wish you were back at school - trust me I'm old.... er!

But guys you are the greatest and I hope we can fit some more fun events in in the near future, if not at least all get toggther for Front of House at LSOH (see how well we scrub up - yay! no make-up).

    until next time ...
    luv yas all!
